Mildred Garrison

Mildred Garrison, 93, of Chaplin, died Thursday May 14, 2009 at Haven Health Center, Willimantic. She was born in Newark, New Jersey in 1916, the daughter of David and Lena (Scheider) Garrison. Mildred had been employed for many years as a sales clerk in Willimantic for Tubridy's and The Country Squire. She was predeceased by brothers William Garrison, Edward Garrison and Roy Garrison and sisters Vera Eremita and Marilyn Fitzgerald. She is survived by sister Lucille Insalaco of Saluda, SC, brother John Garrison of Chaplin, sister June Nadile of Chaplin, brother Lee Garrison of Chaplin and sister Beth Cahill of NH and several nieces and nephews. Mildred is also survived by her dear friend Jean Spooner of Chaplin. Calling hours will not be held. A graveside service will take place in South Chaplin Cemetery, Rte 198, Chaplin on Saturday May 23rd at 10:00am.
