Mildred C. Fandell

Mildred C. Fandell, 76, of Storrs, wife of James Fandell, died Sunday October 29, 2006 in Windham. She was born March 4, 1930 in Mansfield, the daughter of the late Thomas and Doris (Lewis) Tormey and had lived in Mansfield all her life. In addition to her husband she is survived by a son, Richard James Fandell of Storrs, a step-son James Fandell Jr. and his wife Kathy of Hampton, 2 grandchildren, Tyler James Fandell of South Windsor and Justine Ashley Fandell of Hampton, a great grandson Holden James, 3 sisters, Shirley Gesner of Mesa, AZ, Lucille Spector of Columbia and Betty Doten of Storrs, an aunt Sara Tormey, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a step-daughter, Eileen Fandell. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham.
