Mildred King Chamberlin

Mildred King Chamberlin 84 of Willimantic, CT beloved wife for 62 years to the late Wallace Chamberlin passed away peacefully with her family surrounding her at St. Joseph Nursing home in Windham, CT. She was the daughter of the late Fred C. King and Ellen Potter King. Mildred dedicated many years to the American Heart Association. For 51 years she was employed for Maury Cohn in Coventry, CT enjoying her fulfilled titles. In her late 50's she earned her CNA degree. She enjoyed helping people. Mildred enjoying traveling and spending time with her friends. She was predeceased by sisters, Evelyn King, Viola Decarli and Doris Penn. Mildred is survived by two daughters, Linda Cain and Significant other Michael Flynn of Canterbury, CT and Janet Osgood of Scotland, CT. She leaves behind her grandchildren Julie Melvin and husband Dan, Kim Cain, James Cain, and wife Tina, Christopher Cain and wife Tracy. She leaves behind her great grandchildren Jonathan Rule and wife Stacy, Ashley Rule and fiancAC.e Shawn, Dakota Melvin, Elyse Cain, Gavin Cain, Amaiyah Cain and Kyle Briddon. She leaves behind her great-great grandchildren Julian rule and Jamison Rule. She leaves behind her extended family Steven Cohn and Ralph Cohn. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews especially Michelle Satryb. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Kilgannon and St. Joseph Living Center for their wonderful care of Mildred. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Windham Hospital Foundation, 112 Mansfield Ave. Willimantic, CT 06226. A Memorial service will be held at Potter Funeral Home on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 11:00AM. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Inurnment will follow at New Willimantic Cemetery.
