Micheline “Mickey” Lussier, 85, of Hampton, formerly of Willimantic, died Thursday, May 8, 2025 at Hartford Hospital. She was born in Shawinigan Falls, Canada, the daughter of the late Paul and Leontine (Mongrain) Rouette. Mickey leaves behind her daughter’s, Selena Nicole Eddy and Lisa Rogde and her sons-in-law, Rickey Eddy and Eric Rogde; grandsons, Jason Syrene and Nickolis Lussier; her ex husband Rene Lussier, whom she remained good friends with up till her passing; sisters, Marie Lutsky, Nicole Ezis, Louise Kurryan and her husband Joseph Kurryan and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her nephews Michael Kurryan, Garry Lutsky and Aaron Ezis, and a great niece, Mallory Vertefeuille.
Surrounded by family members and her wonderful church family, she felt the love and transitioned peacefully. Mom was a loving and generous person and everyone who knew her saw this. Mickey went through so much pain and suffering and never complained. After years of no answers, her body had enough. A strong woman and stubborn. She was ready to go on to bigger and better things. My sister and I and family and many friends will miss her, a huge part of our lives.
There are no calling hours. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 11:00am at My Community Bible Church, 620 Wauregan Rd. (Rte. 205) Brooklyn.
