Michael Stedman Storrs

Michael Stedman Storrs, 62, of Mansfield, CT, the loving husband of Stacia (Bates) Storrs, passed away surrounded by his family, December 6, 2016.?He was born July 20, 1954, son of the late Francis Wilbur Storrs and Marie Vinicka (of the Czech Republic). Mike was the original owner of ?Mikes Stand? at the Mansfield Four Corners, established in 1973.?In addition, he owned Storrs Enterprises, a pavement/property maintenance business for more than 20 years.?Mike enjoyed summer beach vacations and camping with his family, feeding and watching the birds in his yard and working/tinkering with his equipment and projects in his garage ? he was a?jack of all trades. Most of all he loved to talk to anyone and everyone and make them smile. In addition to his wife Stacia, he is survived by a son and two daughters; Ruskin Tyler and significant other Kristen Farnsworth, Katrina Michelle and Calista Eileen. He also leaves one brother; Francis J. ?Butch? and wife Carolyn, two grandsons; Tyler and Benjamin, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins who live nearby and in the Czech Republic. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 2:00pm at the First Baptist Church of Mansfield, 945 Storrs Rd., Mansfield, CT 06268.?Private burial will follow.
