Michael T. Smith

Michael Smith (Smitty), age 52, of Willimantic, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Backus Hospital with his family by his side, after a 2 year battle with cancer. Mike is survived by his wife, Michele Delehanty-Smith, step children Glenn Martin and Stacy Martin, his brothers Joseph Smith of Plainfeld; James Baton and his wife Terry, of Oakdale; sisters Kelly Tonge of Norwich, and Jeanine Williamson of Baltic, and several nieces and nephews. Mike was active in several local dart leagues, playing in the ECDA, SECDL, and Colchester leagues for over 30 years. There are no calling hours or services, instead there will be a celebration of life held with the date to be determined.
