Michael Joseph Sirak

Michael J. Sirak, 56, of Columbia, husband of Lynn (Zadrozny) Sirak, died suddenly Saturday, August 9, 2008. Michael graduated from UConn to become a well established and respected engineer. He was self-employed in Glastonbury and was currently working with Russell & Dawson of East Hartford. Michael was also an avid guitarist, playing with local bands throughout Connecticut. In addition to his wife, Michael is survived by a son, Andrew Zadrozny, a sister, Susan Churchill and her husband Paul, nieces and nephews, Erin and Steve Matthews and David and Jillian Churchill. He was predeceased by his parents, Helena and Michael Sirak of Columbia. Michael will be remembered by extended family and friends. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic on Wednesday August 13 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the West St. Cemetery, 105 Lake Rd., Columbia.
