Michael (Bones) Letourneau

Michael (Bones) Letourneau, 63, of Hampton, Connecticut passed on peacefully, Thursday morning March 30, 2017 at Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford. Mike was born on October 12, 1953 in Lewiston, Maine. He was a graduate of South Windsor High School. After high school Michael served in the US Army and was stationed in Korea. Michael worked first as a cook and later in maintenance over the course of 26 years for UCONN. In his free time, Mike was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was always at home and happiest on the water or in the woods. He is preceded in death by his sister, Pamela Viens (Letourneau) on March 21, 2017. He is survived by his loving wife Nicolette (Nicky), parents Robert and Jeannette Letourneau of Coventry, sister Lisa Violette of Marion, IL, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. Friends are invited to attend Calling Hours on Sunday, April 2, 2017 from 2:00-4:00pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic CT. Graveside Service with military honors will take place Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 1:00pm at Litchfield Cemetery on Bigelow Road in Hampton, CT.
