Michael H. Leonard

Michael Leonard, 57, of Willimantic passed away on Saturday, May 29th 2010. He was born December 26th 1952 to Raymond and Letitia Leonard. He is survived by his mother Letitia, his son Jonathan and his wife Jessica, and his grandchildren, Alessandra and Aidan. He was predeceased by his father Raymond and sister Sharon. He loved studying art, music, poetry and botany. He will be missed on the shores of Weekapaug RI painting landscapes, and composing music, at the circulation desk at the J Eugene Smith Library of Eastern Connecticut State University and along the streets of Willimantic where he took many leisurely walks. A celebration of Michael's life will be held in the Johnson Room at J Eugene Smith Library at ECSU on Sunday June 6th at 1pm. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the American Cancer Society.
