Michael Thomas Laws, 61, of Amston, CT, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2024, in his home surrounded by his loving wife and children. Born September 11, 1963 in Hartford, son of the late Sandra and Melvin Laws.
Mike was the most kind-hearted, hard-working, giving, and love-filled person anyone could ever meet. His greatest joy in life was protecting and taking care of his family. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He especially loved being in nature with his daughters, Maegan and Brylene. He had a passion for hunting and fishing and was a proud member of the Hebron Sportsman Club. He enjoyed watching sports, and working on projects at home, making his visions come true through building whatever came to mind. He cherished every person in his life and talked about them often.
He will be missed and remembered by his family; the love of his life, Charlene Laws, his daughters Maegan and Brylene, his son Daren, daughter in law, Kelley, and his grandson Jason, his cherished siblings; brother Brian and his wife Robin Laws, his sister Stacey and her husband Kevin Bigoness, his beloved nieces and nephews; Melissa, Brandon, Savannah, Bethany, Kevin, Kyle, Sarah, Nate, and his dearest best friends.
He was predeceased by his Mom, Sandra and Dad, Melvin, his sons Jeremy and Charlie, his brother Joseph, and his Grandma Irene, and Grandpa Joseph.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mike’s memory may be made to the American Lung Association in Connecticut at 45 Ash St. East Hartford, CT. 06108.
