Michael P. Jolie

Michael P. Jolie of Columbia, CT passed away peacefully at home August 20, 2015, after a brief battle with leukemia. Michael was born to Raymond and Gloria (Fryer) Jolie, June 29, 1956 in Willimantic, CT. He attended Windham High School and Windham Tech. Michael worked in all phases of construction and was very good at what he did, a jack of all trades. He leaves behind his parents Raymond and Gloria, his brother Glenn Jolie and sister-in-law Kathy, two nephews Daniel and Christopher Jolie, and his grand-nieces Amia and Crisiya Jolie who always knew "the candy man" would have treats for them. Michael is also survived by his daughter Lynda and son-in-law Craig Lambert, along with his granddaughter Lily. He will also be missed by his two German Shepard's Taz and Leila whom he loved. The family would like to thank the people at Hartford Oncology for their wonderful care, with a special thank you to Melissa O'Neill, Dr. Hong, Dr. Chu and Liz Vizone for always being there for him. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital. A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00AM, Wednesday, August 26, 2015, at St. Columba Church 328 Rte. 66, Columbia, CT.
