Michael J. Michaud

Michael J. Michaud, 54, of Willimantic, passed away on November 15, 2018 at home, with his family by his side. Mike was born on February 20, 1964 to Cookie (Evans) Michaud & the late Kenneth F. Michaud. Besides his mother, he is survived by his son, Joshua Michaud; daughter, Dieja Baker; long time companion, Shaunda Baker; sister, Pam Duval; brother-in-law, Dan; nephew, Scott and Niece Emily. Mike Graduated from Windham High School in 1982. He worked with his Dad at Young's Package Store, and then was Yard Foreman at the O.L. Willard Company for over 20 years. He was an avid sports fan, especially rooting for the Red Sox, Cowboys & Uconn Huskies. He played Willi-MAC softball for many years, first with his Dad, & then with his son. He enjoyed Friday nights at the Trolley Pub with his buddies. Mike fought a courageous battle with cancer for the last 4 years. We worked until the end, with a great attitude, never letting anyone know his pain.
