Michael Dzwonszyk, 86, formerly of, Glastonbury, Coventry and Vermont,World War 2 U.S. Army Air Force veteran, died Tuesday evening Feb. 21, 2006 in Newington. He is survived by his son Michael Joseph Dwonszyk of E. Hartford, 2 daughters, Kris Blake of Manchester and Kathryn Dwonszyk of West Palm Beach, FL., a niece Michelle Nahas of Windham Center, 3 grandsons, Joseph and Matthew Dwonszyk of Rocky Hill and Derick Blake of Manchester. He was predeceased by his former wife Jacqueline Morgan Dwonszyk and his sister Olga Sokolowski Chalifoux. He was born and raised in Coventry and the resided in Vermont and Glastonbury for many years. Michael retired from Pratt & Whitney in 1974. His family will receive friends at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Saturday between 11:00am and 12:00pm followed by a graveside service at 12:30pm in St. Mary s Cemetery, Rte. 31, Coventry.
