Michael Bisson

Michael R Bisson, 60, of Hampton, CT passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018. He was born in Manchester, CT on November 4, 1958, the son of the late Gerard and Laura (Thibodeau) Bisson. Michael was employed for 38 years in various positions with GKN Aerospace in Manchester, CT. Michael was a loving husband and father who enjoyed wood turning (making pens), helping people and riding his motorcycles; the windier the roads the better ? if an ice cream stand was there, that was a bonus! He will be missed by many. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Louise Bisson, their two sons David Bisson and girlfriend Cassie Dresser of Central Village, and Adam Bisson of Scotland. He had the pleasure of meeting his first grandchild, Rhett Michael Bisson prior to his passing. There are two surviving siblings, Raymond Bisson of Claremont, NH and Maurice Bisson of Hampton, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two siblings, Diane Roberts and Gilles Bisson. Calling hours will be held at Potter Funeral Home, located at 456 Jackson St. Willimantic, CT on Sunday, November 18th from 4:00-6:00 PM. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
