Michael Richard Anselmo

Michael Richard Anselmo, 22, of Lebanon, passed away early Friday, December 14, 2018 from a motor vehicle accident. He attended Lyman Memorial High School, class of 2014. Michael was a big teddy bear that loved his family and friends. He had a big heart and would do anything for anyone. Such a simple man he was, never wanted or needed much. Michael enjoyed fishing, snowboarding and spending time with others. His soul was infectious, everyone around him felt his laughter and kind soul. He was a dedicated worker at U-Haul of Columbia for 3 years. Michael was predeceased by his aunt, Debbie Anselmo-Moynihan of Newington and his grandmother, Diana D. Blake of Hartford. Michael is survived by his papa, Richard P. Blake, Jr of Lebanon; mother, Mary Blake-Roy and step father, Robert Roy of Lebanon; father, Jr Anselmo and girlfriend Sue Hogg of Colchester; grandmother, Shirley Accatino of Wethersfield; great aunt, Sylvia Sussdorf of Burlington; siblings, Heather and Matthew Anselmo of Lebanon; step sister, Alyssa Hannan; brother in law, Matthew Hannan and niece Isabella Hannan of South Windsor. Michael had many friends that he held dear to his heart, he was an all around great person to be around. He was the kind of guy to take the shirt right off his back and give it away. Mike will be missed by so many. Family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 4:00PM to 6:00PM at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Willimantic.
