Mary R Wilcox

Mary R. Wilcox, 91, of Hampton, wife of the late Frank H. Wilcox, died Friday, October 10, 2008 at Windham Hospital. She was born January 28, 1917 in Lafayette, IN, the daughter of William and Leona (Harbaugh) Kaiser and had lived in Hampton nearly fifty years. She was a homemaker who devoted herself to her family as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by three children, Steven H. Wilcox and his wife Christie of Stuart, FL, Susan Harvey and her husband Paul of Hampton and C. Wesley Wilcox, also of Hampton, four grandchildren, Michael S. Wilcox of FL, Brian D. Wilcox and his wife Diane of IN, Joshua S. Lewbel of Stafford Springs and Rebecca L. Bearden and her husband Steven of Middlebury, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters and a brother, Helen M. Stegner, Beulah Bone and William Kaiser. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Litchfield Cemetery, Hampton.
