Mudite K. Indars, 65, of Pleasant View Ave. Willimantic, wife of Arvids Indars, died Saturday April 27, 2002 at the Windham Hospital. She was born Aug. 8, 1936 in Valdemarpils, Latvia, the daughter of Marta (Spodris) Klavins of Willimantic and the late Janis Klavins. Mudite was a 1955 graduate of Windham High School and a 1959 graduate of the Willimantic State Teachers College. For 37 years, she taught 4th grade at Mayberry School in E. Hartford. Mudite was a member of the Latvian Lutheran Church in Willimantic, the Connecticut Latvian Assoc. and the Latvian Sorority Imeria. She loved literature, art, opera and fine music. In addition to her husband and mother she is survived by 2 brothers in law; Visvaldis Indars of S. Windham and Gunars Indars of Littleton, MA., a sister in law Kristine Klavins of Chicago, a niece, a nephew in Chicago and many relatives in Latvia. Her funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00am at the Latvian Lutheran Church , 76 Windham Rd., Willimantic. Burial will be in Latvia. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests memorial donations to the Occupational Museum, Riga, Latvia, c/o Arvids Indars, 61 Pleasant View Ave. Willimantic,Ct. 06226.
