Mary Perrone

Mary Perrone, 63, of Willimantic, left us in this world on Christmas morning, December 25, 2009.She was raised in East Hartford by Bill and Bertha Plefka. Mary led a very full life and was respected by many. She leaves behind her husband of 26 years, Louis Perrone and her 34 year old daughter, Heather of Willimantic. Mary had great love and affection for animals. Over the years, she enjoyed arts and crafts, cooking, photography, music and reading. Mary will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Heather and Louis would like to thank all of the VNA Hospice staff for their support and care over the last 6 months. This has been hard for us all, but now at least Mary is at peace. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic on Tuesday December 29th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be Wednesday at the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
