Mary Fugedi Pekarovic

Mary L. (Fugedi) Pekarovic passed away peacefully on Friday, June 21, 2013 at Douglas Manor in Windham. Mary was born the daughter of Joseph and Anna Fugedi on March 28, 1924 in the town of Ashford, CT. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 64 years, Paul Pekarovic. Mary was the loving mother of Bill of Las Vegas, NV, Wayne of Ashford, CT and Mary of Andover, CT. She is also survived by six grandchildren; Jaime, Jen, Shyloh, India, Jeremy and David; 13 great grandchildren, a sister Margaret Krukoff of Westford and a brother Louis Fugedi of Ashford. She was predeceased by three brothers. Mary enjoyed gardening, birds, Red Sox Baseball, UConn Women's Basketball and her many friends and extended family at Douglas Manor. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. Willimantic. A private funeral home service will take place on Thursday followed by a PUBLIC interment service at 12:00 noon in St. Philip Cemetery, Ashford.
