Mary E. Meadows

Mary E. Meadows, 74, of Mansfield Center, died Saturday, January 2, 2010 at the Windham Hospital. She was born April 23, 1935 in Victor, West Virginia and had lived in Mansfield the past 40 years. She was a devoted mother and proud grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her cousin, Patty Nasin. She is survived by a son, James Meadows of Granville, MA, a grandson, Zachary Meadows, also of Granville, a brother, Callie Legg Jr. of Nevada, two sisters, Hazel Massey of Victor, WV and Margaret Sodder of Fayetteville, WV. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic on Tuesday January 5th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Her funeral service will be at the funeral home on Wednesday January 6th at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the Mansfield Center Cemetery.
