Mary Magdelena Gontasz

Mary Magdelena Gontasz, 88, formerly of Lebanon, passed away on Monday March 2, 2009 at Windham Hospital. She was born in 1920 in Poland and prior to becoming a resident of Haven Health Center in Willimantic she resided in Lebanon for twenty two years. Mary had been employed in Manhattan by Citigroup, International Paper Company and Automatic Data Processing prior to retiring to Connecticut. She is survived by two sisters, Loretta Harriss and Ronnie Campbell, a brother Raymond Gontasz , a cousin Hedy Latkowski and several nieces and nephews. She was much loved and will be greatly missed. Thank you to all who gave her support and loving care. Her family will receive friends on Thursday March 5th from 9:30 to 10:30am at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic. Her Funeral Mass will then be celebrated at 11:00am at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St. Willimantic with interment following in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham.
