Mary S. Cushman

Mary S. Cushman, 98, of Willington, wife of the late Harold Cushman, died Wednesday, February 01, 2006 in Mansfield. She was born February 14, 1907 in Mansfield, the daughter of the late Louis and Frances Schlehofer and had lived in Willington most of her life. She was a member of the Women s Auxiliary of the Willington Fire Department and prior to her retirement she was employed for many years at UConn. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, David and Karen Cushman of Willington, a sister, Alice Dunnack of Coventry, 6 grandchildren, Janice, Michael, Louis, Donna, Debbie and Joey, several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by a son, Louis Cushman. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the Willington Hill Cemetery.
