Mary Cone, 90, of Willimantic, Daughter to the late Laura (Sypher) and Orrin Cone passed away on July 11, 2025.
Mary was born February 4, 1935 in Mansfield CT. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be missed dearly by many.
Her kindness, generosity, laughter and love will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
Mary leaves behind her daughter Brenda Schwarzmann; granddaughter Angela Prestridge; grandson John Perreault III; and her sister Viola Slater. Mary also leaves behind many nephews, nieces, cousins, and close friends that she held a special love for.
Mary was predeceased by her brothers Laurence, Orrin, Irvin and Charles Cone and her sisters Elsie Wyszomierski and Lois Kneeland.
Mary's Burial and celebration of life will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mary Cone can be made to help the local community by giving to WAIM (Windham Area Interfaith Ministry) 866 Main St Willimantic CT. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025 at 11:00am at the New Willimantic Cemetery, in Willimantic.
