Mary Rose Busse

Mary (Macha) Busse, 73, of Chaplin, passed away on August 4, 2017. She was born February 6, 1944 in Windham, CT to the late William and Judy (Marshall) Macha. Mary was married to Otto Busse for 49 years, who passed away October 17, 2010. She worked as a Vocational Instructor for the State of Connecticut for more than 30 years. Mary enjoyed gardening and working outside, crocheting playing Yahtzee. She was a very given person and never thought of herself. Mary is survived by three children, Cindy Gamache and her husband Kevin, Bill Busse, and Jeffrey Busse and his wife Tammy; four grandchildren Stephanie Eisach and her husband Ted, Emily Busse, Ben Gamache, and Danielle Gamache; four great grandchildren Carson, Grant Jr., Amelia, and Kylee; many brothers and sisters. Mary's family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday August 9, 2017 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday August 10, 2017 at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Woodward Cemetery, Ashford.
