Mary Florence Boucher

September 27, 1921 — November 2, 2005

Mary Florence (Marois) Boucher, 84, of Hebron, beloved servant of Christ, widow of Clarence A. Boucher, passed on to eternal life on Wednesday Nov. 2, 2005. She was born Sept. 27, 1921 in Vermont the daughter of Leon and Ida (Boivin) Marois. She married Clarence on Jan. 26, 1943 in Suffield and they operated a dairy and poultry farm in Hebron for many years. She also was retired from Pratt and Whitney. Mrs. Boucher was a very active member of the Worship Center of Hebron and donated the land on which the church will be built. She touched the lives of countless people with her love of and devotion to Jesus. She also enjoyed gardening at her home and the company of her dogs. She is survived by her 4 children, Roland and his wife Pauline of Bagley, MN., Armand and his wife Sheri of Hebron, Yvonne and her husband Kenneth Bain Jr. of Andover and Anthony and his wife Helen of Amston; a brother Bernard Marois of Windsor Locks, 2 sisters Irene Gagne of Hazzardville and Doris Laflin of Suffield, 12 grandchildren, Michelle, Michael, Melanie, Mark, Sherri, Steven, David, Heather, Jacqueline, Jessica, Joshua and Justin and 11 great grandchildren. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Sunday between 2:00 and 5:00pm. Her funeral service will be held on Monday at 10:00am at the Church of the Holy Family, 185 Church St. (Rte. 85) Hebron. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Suffield. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests memorial donations to the Worship Center Building Fund, P.O. Box 1435, Hebron, CT. 06248.
