Chaplin: Mary E. Bolduk, 72, passed into God's loving care on April 11th, 2013. Mary was born in Hartford, CT on June 23rd, 1940, the daughter of the late Edwina (Lawler) and Sebastian Valvo. She lived in Chaplin for 44 years with her predeceased husband, Roger J. Bolduk. She loved crafts and especially music. She played the organ for over 45 years at the Chaplin Congregational Church. She also loved playing the accordion, playing country music for many years and the guitar. She was a member of the Chaplin Church since 1962. She worked for 23 years at Chaplin Elementary School in Special Education as an Instructional Assistant. She is predeceased by her brother Bill (Wild Bill) Valvo who is survived by his wife Reggie. Mary is survived by two brothers, Bob (wife Peggy) from Maine and James of Manchester. She leaves several nieces and nephews. She also leaves two sons, Pastor Roger A. and wife Kimberly (Searles) Bolduk of Chaplin and Michael and wife Heidi (Tucker) Bolduk of Vernon. She also leaves 7 grandchildren, Ryan Bolduk, Joseph Bolduk (wife Renee), Stephanie (Bolduk) Slater, Twins Jonathan Bolduk and Sarah (Bolduk) Cassidy (husband Patrick) and Twins Monica and Morgan Bolduk. She leaves two great grandchildren, Timothy Slater and Matthew Cassidy. A Memorial Service for Mary will be held at the Chaplin Congregational Church located at 43 Chaplin Street, Chaplin, CT on Saturday, April 27th, 2013 at 11 AM.
