Mary Rita Bergeron

Mary Rita Bergeron, 67, of North Windham, died peacefully on Monday Aug. 30, 2004 at the Mansfield Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born Sept. 11, 1936 in Lowell, MA. Prior to her retirement, Mary was employed by Homemakers & Companions. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, decorating her home and flea marketing. Mary was a very caring person who enjoyed helping handicapped neighbors and also cared for stray animals. She was predeceased by a son, Wayne Casey and a daughter, Caroline Casey. She is survived by 4 daughters, Dawn Casey of N. Windham, Kathleen Todd and her husband Ronald of Coventry, Sylvia Vicari and her husband Christopher of W.Palm Beach, FL. and Mary Paul and her husband Raymond of Ashford; 5 stepchildren, Robert Bergeron, Sandra Toce, Janice Bergeron, Linda Bergeron and Ronald Bergeron; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Her funeral service will be private with burial in the Mansfield Center Cemetery.
