Mary Elizabeth Adamo

Mary Elizabeth Adamo, 70, of North Windham, wife of Salvatore Adamo, passed into the arms of God Friday December 12, 2003 at the Windham Hospital. She was born July 11, 1933 in Putnam, the daughter of the late Joseph and Cornelia (Gibney) LaPointe and had lived in the Windham area most of her life. Prior to her retirement she was employed for many years at the former Electro-Motive Mfg. Co. in Willimantic. Mary loved caring for her cats. In addition to her husband she is survived by 3 children, Rhonda Dazy, Joleen Adamo and James Adamo, all of North Windham, a brother, Raymond LaPointe of Danielson, 2 sisters, Doris Adams of Killingly, Bernice Malone of Danielson, 7 grandchildren, Mark, Douglas, Paul, Justin, Joshua, Jordon and Jamie, 3 great grandchildren, Jazmyn, Anthony and Cierra, many nieces and nephews. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic on Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Her funeral service will be at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
