Marshall G. Moore 77 of 2 Hilltop Lane Columbia The Angels came the morning of 1/28/04. Born in Pa. on 6/19/1926 to the late Walter & Nellie Moore. Marshall was a loving husband, father, son, brother, brother in law, Uncle & friend. He loved his family very much. He was the wind beneath our wings, the apple of our eye, our strength. A World War II Veteran. Before moving to Ct. he worked for the West Va. State Tax Dept. Retired from Mazzola's Mobile Homes & Brintec. After being bored for a few years went to work at BJ's Wholesale Club in wmtc. where he had an extended family. He passed on peacefully with his wife of 50 yrs by his side. He left behind a wealth of stories told to his family & friends through out his life. As well as gentleness & love he shared with everyone he met. He was looking forward to the arrival of his new grand niece/nephew. He is survived by his wife A.Ann Moore "Dolly" his loving daughters Robin & Teddi, sister Dorothy Blasko of N. Windham, brothers Raymond & wife Betty, James & wife Anna Mae of Carmichaels, Pa. and Richard of Ohio. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, bickering with his daughters about football & basketball , traveling, cutting wood for Dolly & her friends for their crafts. The family wishes to thank Dr. Kilgannon & staff, Dr. Hylwa, Dr. Baker, Dr. Hong, Helen & Ed and the staff of Oncology Assoc. Also Dr. Hauser & staff at Radiology Oncology Dept Htfd. Hospital. Special thanks for the care given to Marshall by the nurses & staff on the 4th floor & Greer at Windham Hospital. Donations may be made in Marshalls name to Oncology Associates, WCMH 112 Mansfield Ave., Willimantic, Ct.06226 There will be no calling hours. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
