Marshall "Buddy" Roberson Obituary
Marshall "Buddy" Roberson, 79, of Willimantic, CT passed away September 22, 2020 at Bride Brook Rehabilitation Center in Niantic, CT after his battle with cancer. He was raised in Concord, NC, born son of Runice Lester Roberson, Sr. and Frances Arthurs Roberson. Buddy was a graduate of R.I.T. in printing management and worked as a printer for many years. Following his retirement, he worked for the Meals on Wheels program helping many people. He was a loving father, brother, uncle, and friend who would lend a hand to anyone in need.
He is survived by his former wife Suzanne; their son Michael; daughter-in-law Jana; and grandson Rowan. He also leaves behind his sister Vivian Monetta Poland and brother Edgar Allen Roberson as well as many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brothers Raymond Leroy Roberson, James Edward Roberson and Runice Lester Roberson, Jr. A private spreading of ashes will be held to honor his wishes.
