Mark R. Young Jr

Mark R. Young Jr., 20, of Ashford, died Tuesday August 24, 2004 of injuries received in an automobile accident in Ellington. He was born October 3, 1983 at Camp Lejeune, NC, the son of Sandra (Sindelar) Young of Ashford and Mark Young Sr. of Willington. He was an active and outgoing person who loved to tinker with motor vehicles and was known as an excellent mechanic. In addition to his parents he is survived by his stepfather, Wayne Priest of Ashford, 2 sisters, Leanne and Shawna, a brother, Tyler, his paternal grandparents Joanne and Ira Young of Willington, his maternal grandmother, Gloria Parker of Waterford, his maternal grandfather, Robert Sindelar of Florida. He is also survived by several aunts and uncles including Donna Sindelar and Edward Sindelar, many cousins and friends. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic on Sunday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the Willington Hill Cemetery, Rte. 74 in Willington.
