He had a keen interest in military history, particularly the World Wars and submarine warfare. He was also a member of the Bozrah Rod and Gun Club, where he enjoyed target shooting, exercising his dogs, and bonding with his fellow members. Mark had a love for nature and took great pride in his apple orchard, garden, and the wood he chopped and seasoned for the cold winter months. Wherever he went, Mark’s faithful canine companions, Venna and Josey, were by his side.

Mark will be remembered as a loving husband of 40 years to Nancy (Postemski) Sasarak of Lebanon, CT, and a proud father to Christopher Sasarak of Chicago, IL.
