Marjorie A. Ramage

Marjorie A. Ramage, 77, of Ash St. Willimantic, died Thursday April 1, 2004 at the Haven Health Center, Willimantic. She was born July 16, 1926 in New London the daughter of the late Charles J. and Eleanor (Bliven) Ramage. Marge had been employed by SNET in Willimantic for many years and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. She was a former longtime member of the Willimantic Country Club. She was predeceased by her sister Barbara Goettlich. Marge is survived by a nephew Walter Goettlich, his wife Susan of Waterford, VT. and their children Walter Jr. and Nate , and by a niece Ann Gueutal, her husband Gordon and their children Gregory and Barbara of Windham. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday at 9:00am at the funeral home with burial following in the Comstock Cemetery, Montville. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests memorial donations to the Covenant Soup Kitchen, 220 Valley St. Willimantic, Ct. 06226.
