Marjorie G. Jones

Marjorie (Gillette) Jones, 95, of Columbia, CT and St. Augustine, FL, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2014. Daughter of Herbert A. and Adelaide (Isham) Gillette. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas C. Jones and her twin sisters, Hazel McCaulley, and Lois Alvin. She leaves several nieces and nephews who reside throughout the United States. Marjorie was educated in the local schools and then New Britain Teachers College. She worked for Travelers Insurance Company in Hartford prior to her employment in a medical office in Willimantic. The family would like to thank the staff at Regency Heights of Windham for their care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Camp Care Therapeutic Riding, 106 Route 66 East, Columbia, CT 06237. Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
