Mario Brunaccioni

Mario Brunaccioni, 84 years old, of Willimantic, husband of Lottie Brunaccioni, passed away December 14, 2001 at Windham Hospital. After having served as a Corporal in the Marine Corps from 1939 to 1945, Mario was presented with a good conduct medal. As a employee of the American Screw Company, Mario enjoyed his work as an inspector. He later went to work for the Electric Boat Division. For thirty-five years of continuous service and loyalty, Mario was honored with a pin and certificate from the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers. Known for his woodworking and handyman skills, Mario was often found helping his neighborhood friends. He also leaves behind his son, Joseph Brunaccioni, his daughter-in-law Pamela, and his three grandchildren, Jeremy, Jamie and Christina, all of Massachusetts. Several nieces and nephews are also left behind. In honor of Mario s wishes, no calling hours or funeral services will be held.
