Marilyn Tarleton Obituary
Marilyn Stewart Tarleton, 78, of Coventry (formerly of East Hartford), CT passed peacefully with the love of her family by her side. Marilyn is also survived by her sister Laura Stewart, nieces Ellen (Smaus) and Madison Jamaitus, Nora Tarka, and nephews Nicholas and Joshua Jamaitus and her Canadian family whom she adored. Marilyn was more than just a mom, wife, aunt, baba or Mimi to the people she loved. Those who had the privilege to know Marilyn knew she had a heart of gold, and her family was her entire world.
Marilyn had a strong connection with children and would spend countless hours with them, whether it was being a baby whisperer, reading stories, taking them to visit parks and local farms, or just taking a ride in her beloved Volkswagens. Her pride for her family shined during family gatherings, celebrations, and she was always willing to lend a helping hand during life’s challenges.
Marilyn took pride in her gardening and needlework. She had a love for books, the color red, snowman, cardinals and many pets over the years.
Marilyn is predeceased by her husband Jackie Tarleton, her parents Clayton and Lillian (Ferne) Stewart and her brother Almon Stewart.
The family of Marilyn Tarleton would like to thank the Hartford Healthcare at Home Hospice Team for the care, guidance and support that they provided.
