Marilyn F. Stapleton

Marilyn F. Stapleton, 69, of Willington, wife of Maurice Stapleton, died Saturday, November 5, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. She was born October 13, 1942 in Fall River, MA, the daughter of the late Milton and Elsie (Duckett) Wrobleski and had lived in Willington since 1976. She enjoyed gardening, watching the birds and spending time with friends but the focus of her life was on her family. In addition to her husband of 48 years she is survived by three children and their spouses, Michael and Rebecca Stapleton of Barkhamsted, CT, Carlene and Robert Clark of Virginia Beach, VA, Cindy and Matt Hayes of Beaverdam, VA, seven grandchildren, Alli, Jessica and Andrew Clark, Nathan and Danny Hayes and Brayden and Kylie Stapleton, a brother, Milton Wroblesk and his wife Dottie of Mansfield Center, a sister, Margaret Wrobleski R.S.M. of East Providence, RI, several nieces and nephews. Her family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, November 8th 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday November 9th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Jude Church, 25 Old Farms Rd., Willington. Burial will follow in Willington Hill Cemetery.
