Marie Corinne Tettelbach

December 17, 1920 — July 28, 2005

Marie Corinne (Cole) Tettelbach, widow of John E. Tettelbach, died Thursday July 28, 2005 at the John Dempsey Hospital in Farmington. She was born December 17, 1920 in New York City, the daughter of Charles and Corinne Cole and had lived in East Hartford before moving to Columbia. She graduated from Huntington High School in Huntington Long Island, NY and attended the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA. Mrs. Tettelbach was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. She was an active member of various community organizations including the P.T.A., St. Columba Church, the Home Makers, the Daylight Quilters, the Golden Trefoils of Girl Scouts of America, the Red Hat Society and the Columbia Senior Citizens. She is survived by a son, Gary Tettelbach of New Zealand, a daughter Ann Dunnack and her husband Scott of Columbia, 2 granddaughters, Jocelyn Dunnack and her husband Adam Johnson, Samantha Randazzo and her husband Joseph and their triplets, Trystan, Victoria and Christina, 1 grandson Eric Dunnack. She was predeceased by a son Douglas Tettelbach and 2 brothers, Ralph and Harold Cole. A memorial service will be held at a future date. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the CT Trails Council of the Girl Scouts of America, 100 State St. New Haven, CT 06473-2343. Arrangements are through the Potter Funeral Home, Willimantic.
