Marie "Doris" (Rivard) Bachand

Marie ?Doris? (Rivard) Bachand, 81, of Willimantic, passed away March 26, 2019 at St. Joseph Living Center. She was born in Willimantic the daughter of the late Wilfred and Yvonne (Bourey) Rivard. Doris worked for many years at the Rogers Corporation where she retired. She was a member of the Woman of the Moose and enjoyed playing cards and bingo. What Doris enjoyed most in life was her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Doris is survived by a son, Brian Tellier and his wife Alicia of New Britain; daughter Jackie Joslyn and her husband Jeff of Willimantic; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by three sisters, Jennette, Rita and Yvonne. Doris? family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, March 28, 2019 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St, (Rte. 195) Willimantic. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 29, 2019 at 11:00am at St Mary Church, 46 Valley Street, Willimantic, meeting directly at church. Burial to follow at St Joseph Cemetery, Windham.
