Marie "Lorraine" Overturf, 74, of Lebanon, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was born on November 28, 1940, in Willimantic, CT, daughter of the late Joseph and Lillian (Sevigny) Veilleux. She was predeceased by her husband, Wallace (Wally) D. Overturf. Lorraine was a stay-at-home mother of their four children. Also, she was later employed at Electro-Motive and retired from SEMCO. Lorraine enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, including cooking and baking for them. She was a member of the St. Mary's congregation in Willimantic. Lorraine is survived by her four children, Danny (Dawn) Overturf of Lebanon, Steve (Future) Overturf of Windham, Holly (Michael) Spicer of Lebanon and Tracy Myette (Mike Stanger) of Coventry. She also leaves behind four grandchildren, Danny Overturf, Jr., Justin Spicer, Jaclyn Spicer, Chelsea Myette and two step grandchildren, Alicia and Alex Springer, along with three great grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by her brother, Roland Veilleux and sister, Simone Veilleux, along with several nieces and nephews. Marie's family will receive relatives and friends Wednesday September 16, 2015 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday September 17, 2015 at St. Mary Church, Willimantic at 11:00am with assembly at church. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham.
