Marie A. Dupont

Marie A. Dupont, 79, of Wllimantic, widow of Josephat Dupont, died Tuesday December 18, 2001 at the Windham Hospital. She was born October 13, 1922 in St. Marcel, PQ, Canada and had lived in Willimantic for the last 30 years. She was employed at the former American Thread Co. and most recently at the Willimantic Stop & Shop. Mrs. Dupont was a volunteer at Immaculata Retreat House for over 20 years. She is survived by 3 children, Robert Dupont, Linda Plourde and Gloria Perriolat, all of Willimantic, 8 grandsons, Doug Plourde Jr. Justin and Jason Plourde, Robert Dupont Jr. and Joey Dupont, Damien, Julian and Jordan Perriolat, a great granddaughter, Amber Plourde, several brothers and sisters in Maine and Canada. The funeral procession will begin Saturday at 9:30 a.m. from the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. Willimantic and proceed to the celebration of her Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Church, Valley St., Willimantic. Burial will be at a later date. There are no calling hours.
