Marie Louise Dinenno, 83, of Brooklyn Rd. Canterbury, formerly of Willimantic and Hampton, died Sunday Nov. 4, 2001 at St. Joseph Living Center, Windham. She was born April 21, 1918 in Willimantic the daughter of Octave and Aldea (Sampson) Maheu. She had been employed by the Electro-Motive Manufacturing Co. and the American Thread Co. in Willimantic for many years and was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, Willimantic. Mrs. Dinenno enjoyed being homemaker and traveling. She is survived by her 5 children; Joan Marie Marchese of Lebanon, George C. Freeman of Willimantic, Karl W. Freeman of Windham Center, John F. Kiernan of Bozrah and William T. Dinenno Jr. of Canterbury, a step daughter Mary Coriarty of Willington, a sister Dorothy Desrosiers of Columbia, 3 brothers George Maheu and Harry Maheu both of Willimantic and Victor Maheu of Hampton, 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00pm. There will be a gathering at the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:15 am prior to the procession to her 10:00am Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St. Willimantic. Burial will follow in St. Mary s Cemetery, Coventry. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests memorial donations to St. Joseph Living Center, 14 Club Rd., Windham, Ct. 06280.
