Maria S. Ramos, 78, passed peacefully on February 28, 2025 in Windham, CT. She was born July 23, 1946 in Las Marias Puerto Rico. Maria was the daughter of Delia and Juan Ayala Badillo. She married Carlos A Ramos, and together raised their two sons Juan and Alberto.
Maria is survived by her loving husband, Carlos A. Ramos, her sons Juan and Alberto, grandchildren Daniel and Kalyana, great-grandson Kash, her sisters Norma Ayala, Luz Hernandez, Ramonita Velez, Milagros Cruz, as well as many nephews and nieces who she loved dearly.
Maria worked many years for the American Thread company until closing, and then at UConn until her retirement. Was very loving to her church Sagrado Corazon and its members.
