Maria Rosa Pillari

Maria Rosa Pillari of Willimantic CT. passed away on May 15th 2014 after a brief illness. Maria was born to Francesco Mavrici and Annunziata Surace in Calabria Italy. She married Domenico Pillari April 23rd 1953. Domenico came to the United States in 1965 and Maria followed with their five children in 1966. Maria is survived by her husband, Domenico and their five children Domenica, Luigi and Francesco Pillari, Annunziata Pillari-Smith and Carmela Crawford. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. A wake will be held Sunday, May 18th 2 - 4 PM at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. Willimantic CT. Funeral Services will take place Monday 10 AM at St Joseph's Church in Willimantic. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham.
