Maria A. Henning

Maria A. Henning, 85, of Lebanon, formerly of Willimantic, widow of Reinhold Henning Sr., died Friday September 16, 2005 at home. She was born August 28, 1920 in Pillkoppen, Germany and had lived in Willimantic since 1959 where she was a member of Ebenezer Lutheran Church. She was employed for 28 years at the former American Thread Company and loved her garden and flowers. Maria was a loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Reinhold and Francine Henning of Lebanon, a grandson, Jason Henning of Lebanon, a brother and a sister in Germany. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic. Burial will follow in the New Willimantic Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
