Margery Sherwood Obituary
Margery Lou Sherwood, 80, of Columbia, CT passed away on December 12th, 2023. She was born in Hebron, CT, the daughter of the late Thomas and Lucy (Tennant) Badore.
She is survived by her 2 sons, Robert and his wife Deborah, along with their blended children, Adam and Andrea Garrison, Rachel and William Beale, Scott and Priscilla Garrison, and Brittany Sherwood and Jose Santana. And William Sherwood and Stacey Collins-Sherwood and their children, Savannah and Julianna Sherwood. Margery is also survived by her son in law, Kyle Provost and his children, Madison, Lucy and Magnus Provost and many, many great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Margery was predeceased by her husband, Richard Sherwood and daughter, Courtney Provost. Also, brothers, John Mitchell, Thomas Badore, and sisters Barbara Dumas, Lucille Mitchell, Sally Wrana and Nancy Thompson.
Margie (Mema) loved and lived for her family and ran a daycare from her home, which was the perfect setting for her favorite hobby, cooking for everyone! Anyone who knows her has tasted her tasty quesadillas!
Friends and relatives are welcome to join the family on Wednesday, December 20, from 5-7pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Willimantic. Burial will be private.
