Margaret Ann Moffitt

Margaret A. Moffitt, 68, of Windham, wife of John Moffitt Sr., died Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at home. She was born April 10, 1940 in Willimantic, daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Blanchette) Sullivan and had lived in Windham all her life. In addition to her husband of 22 years she is survived by six children, Donna Dazy and her partner Michael Breton of Coventry, Dawn Costigan and her husband Ed of Brooklyn, Dennis Moore-Trickett and his wife Dolores of Stafford, Denna Giloman and her husband Doug of Yukon, OK, John Moffitt Jr. of Windham and Bonita Scott of Sterling, a sister, Susan Hendricks of Royersford, PA, 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Donald Moore Jr. and two brothers, Edward and Joseph Sullivan. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic on Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at the funeral home Monday at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the New Willimantic Cemetery.
