2 Margaret "Peg" Kozin. Born November 29, 1932 passed away April 22, 2012. She leaves behind a daughter Karin Kozin, 2 grandchildren Amanda and Ben DeVivo, a sister Reta Reynolds, 2 brother in laws, Phil Hiltz and Baldon Pantoja, a son-in-law Tom DeVivo, and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by 2 daughters, Kandy Scully and Kathleen DeVivo, 2 sisters, Barbara Hiltz, Pricilla Pantoja, and a favorite Uncle Bill Crosthwaite. Peg retired from UCONN food service and worked in many area restaurants throughout her long career. She was a remarkable caregiver who helped many young people achieve success by her example. Her last job was at the Card Home where she thrived on bringing doughnuts and snacks to the folks in her care. She also possessed a unique spirit. She never let her own troubles, and there many, cast a shadow on her world of friends and family. If anyone ever needed help planning a get together, Peg was the first one there to set the stage and the last one out, cleaning the dishes. Her energy was boundless. Peg was a very proud women and jet black hair was her style. She had bouffant's and an up-doo for every occasion. At long last she decided to rest and is finally with her daughters, but it clearly was on Peg's terms. Peg was a longtime walker in our local relay for life and a member of the Pink Flamingo's. We will think of her every time we see one. Alive or Plastic. To all of you who journeyed through Peg's life, keep smiling and be kind. Peg's last party will be May 5th. Friends and family are invited to gather at the New Willimantic Cemetery at 11:00 am followed by feast of food and music at Fred's Brick house.
