Margaret Felton

Margaret Tracy Felton age 91, beloved wife of Bernard L. Felton, died unexpectedly at Windham Community Memorial Hospital on October 21 2005. She was born June 22, 1914, the daughter of the late Katherine E. Tracy and William D. Tracy. Beside her husband, Bernie, she is survived by her two sons Richard L. Barber and his wife Kathleen Ronan Barber of Rockingham, NC, William R. Barber and his wife Hazel Little Barber of Tolland, CT and a daughter Pamela C. Felton-Garner and her husband Ronald E Garner of Deep River CT. Eight grandchildren, Kelley Barber, Brent Barber and wife Sarah, and Douglas Garner and wife Kim Starr of CT; Jennifer Garner of Hawaii, Christopher Barber and wife Lisa, Patrick Barber and wife Cassandra, Michael Barber, and Kathryn Barber-Kitchen, and husband Charles, and four great-grand children all of North Carolina. She was employed for many years as a medical secretary at Windham Community Memorial Hospital and in local medical offices. Her life was devoted to the love of her family and vast number of friends whom she treasured as family. It was her wish that there be no calling hours, and that the burial be private at the convenience of the family. A public Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 A.M .on Friday, October 28, 2005 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 46 North Eagleville Road, Storrs, CT. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make a memorial donation in her name to the Windham Hospital Emergency Department Expansion Project, 112 Mansfield Avenue, Willimantic Ct. 06226 or a charity of the donor s choice.
