Margaret Paulson Obituary
Margaret Elaine Paulson (Easton), 80, of Greenfield, MA, passed away on March 31, 2024. She was born on August 29, 1943, in Willimantic, CT, to the late Kenneth Easton and Bertha (Tranka) West, and lovingly raised by Roger West. Margaret's early years were spent in Hadley, Massachusetts, on the Hartsbrook Family Farm along with her twelve siblings.

Known fondly as "Marge," she exuded a sense of warmth, generosity, and vivacity. Hailed for her wit and humor, Marge's love for Westerns and her ability to pick up a harmonica were as legendary as her stylish appearance, no matter the task at hand. Her professional journey was as varied as it was impressive, with notable positions from bartending at the Celebrity Club in Tulsa to overseeing maintenance at UCONN.

Marge's commitment to family was unparalleled. She was a dedicated mother, raising both biological and adopted children with equal measures of love and wisdom. She leaves behind sons Raymond Duplissie and William Paulson; adopted children Rhonda Ely, Norie Amet, Charlae Ely, Rory Ely, and Onyx Ely; fourteen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on April 15, 2024, beginning at 11 am at St. Phillips Church located at 64 Pompey Hollow Rd, Ashford, CT 06278. Burial will directly follow the mass, at New Mansfield Center Cemetery, located on Cemetery Road, Mansfield Center, CT. A Celebration of Life will follow, details will be provided at the service. It is with heavy hearts that her family invites those who were touched by her vibrant soul to join in the farewell. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Kidney Foundation, an organization close to Marge's heart.

Her fiery spirit, compassion, and joy for life will be sorely missed and forever remembered by her extensive family and numerous friends.
